A CENTURY OF PRECISION
Hartford Fencers Club is writing its next chapter by bringing a proud local fencing tradition back to life. With roots reaching to 1871 and a club tradition established in 1932, HFC once helped make Hartford a center for foil, épée, and sabre. Today, our “swords are back” vision is about more than restoring a club—it is about bringing historic trophies and stories home, building a permanent place to fence, and making the sport open to a new generation. Through community support, youth partnerships, and the preservation of names and memories from Connecticut fencing, HFC is reclaiming its past while building Hartford’s future.
